JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, the HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of human resources, with a primary focus on acquisitions. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related matters pertaining to acquisitions, overseeing the integration process, and ensuring seamless transitions for employees. Additionally, they will carry a book of business, providing HR support and guidance to designated departments or regions within the company, provide project management support and guidance to the HR team on companywide initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Acquisition and Integration Management: Serve as the project manager and primary contact for all HR-related aspects of acquisitions and integration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of new entities into the organization. Facilitate communication, manage timelines, and address any HR-related issues that arise during the acquisition process.
2. HR Project Management: Provide strategic and operational HR project management support to the HR team. Partner with stakeholders, including vendors, to develop and implement HR initiatives that align with business objectives and drive organizational success.
3. Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
4. Change Management: Lead efforts to train and equip internal departments on change management techniques, particularly in the context of acquisitions. Collaborate with the integration team to develop and deliver training programs focused on managing transitions effectively.
5. Travel and On-Site Support: Travel as needed to fully understand and stay current with on-the-ground operations related to acquisitions. Provide on-site support during critical stages of the integration process, offering guidance and assistance to employees as they navigate change.
