Education or equivalency: | · Requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work.

Experience: | · Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in financial analysis, accounting or related field. · Prefer experience in corporate financial planning and analysis or business analysis. |
Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the company’s financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function. This role assists with forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling/reporting, and providing data-driven insights to help guide business decisions. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. | Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial models. |
2. | Perform detailed financial analyses, identify trends, and support variance explanations for management review. |
3. | Prepare reports and presentations summarizing financial performance and key metrics. |
4. | Collaborate cross-functionally to provide financial support for business initiatives. |
5. | Maintain and improve financial models to enhance accuracy and efficiency. |
6. | Support ad hoc analysis, including scenario planning and business performance reviews. |
7. | Assist in developing dashboards and analytical tools using Excel, SQL, or other systems. |
