We’re looking for a summer intern who is eager to learn about digital marketing, social media and website analytics, and able to work with our marketing team on-site this summer.
This position will be a 10 week internship starting around the beginning of June through mid-August.

Key Responsibilities
• Support Social Media Marketing:
- Learn how to work in the business platform of Meta
- Assist on general social media tickets; grant admin access to Meta pages when tickets come in; help boost posts on Meta
- Assist with a weekly check of school Meta pages and note inactivity
- Gather and organize photos from school’s social pages to place in content libraries for future use
- Help find and pull posts for the Cadence Connect internal newsletter
• Support Website updates and optimizations:
- Learn how to work in Wordpress; assist with website content and imagery updates based on tickets and requests from marketing team
- Assist with local listing management, optimizations, and audits using the Soci platform; update imagery in listings
- Learn the basics of SEO and GEO by performing keyword research, updating metadata, and updating content
- Learn how to analyze website / local SEO performance reporting and transform that knowledge into optimizations for individual schools
- Build foundational marketing analytics knowledge through working with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and Google Search Console
Experience & Qualifications
• MS Outlook skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Familiarity with social media platforms, specifically Facebook and Instagram
• Self-starter; willing to research and find resources independently to learn how to accomplish tasks as well as willingness to learn new skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with others both within and outside of the marketing department
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, along with a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks in a reasonable timeframe
• Ability to work on-site in our Scottsdale office 2-3 days per week
