How are we different?

• Consistent weekly hours without being cut when ratios change.
• Stable classrooms.  We do NOT shuffle children or combine rooms to maximize ratios.
• Supporting teachers is Admin's #1 job.
• Assistant Teachers (little or no experience in licensed childcare) start at $18.00/hr. 
• Teachers (6 months or more direct experience) earn $19.00/hr.
• Senior Teachers (2 years direct experience) earn $20.90/hr.

The position is full-time and the schedule may be midshift (8:00 - 5:00), or closing (9:15-6:15).

Job responsibilities include:

• Provide social/emotional, physical, cognitive support for a class of up to 22 students. 
• Ensure the health and safety of the children in your care
• Follow all State licensing guidelines
• Maintain a clean classroom with prompt attention to child needs
• Be able to lift and carry children
• Complete daily care sheets
• Assist with curriculum delivery 
• Work cooperatively and respectfully with all team members

What Makes You Our Teaching Star:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience as a preschool teacher or in a licensed daycare.
• Flexible and ready to shine during business hours.
• Preferred: Child Development Associate (CDA) or college degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
